CanRevive Reopening and New Business Hours Notice

Following NSW Government’s announcement that community centres and facilities like CanRevive can reopen from 13 June 2020, CanRevive has been in preparation to ensure that both our City Office and Southern Office are being COVID-19 safe prior to reopening. Following discussion and consultation with CanRevive Executive Committee and staff members, CanRevive is pleased to announce that our City Office will reopen from 20 July 2020 (Monday to Friday) and Southern Office will reopen from 21 July 2020 (Tuesday and Thursday). Further, our business hours will also be changed to operate between 10am to 3pm every business day until further notice.

To ensure a COVID-19 safe environment for everyone involved, the following procedures will be implemented for everyone entering into our office premises:

1. Everyone entering the premises will need to have his/her body temperature measured. If his/her has been detected to have a high temperature, then the person will be refused entry.

2. After temperature tested, the person will proceed to the hand sanitizing station to have his/her hands washed.

3. If the person doesn’t have a mask on them, CanRevive volunteer or staff member on duty will hand out a face mask and to direct the person to put it on.

4. The person will then finally need to sign in with his/her CanRevive Membership Card or manually on book at the reception for contact tracing purpose prior to entering the meeting room or other parts of the premises.

Face-to-face activities will still be very limited at this point in time, as CanRevive has venue capacity limit in complying with the current government social distancing rules. Consequently, regular and big face-to-face support groups such as Happy Group will not resume until further notice. CanRevive will continue to review and monitor the development and situation of COVID-19 and will provide further update in due course.
