Public Information Sessions aim to provide an opportunity for the general public to gain some understanding from health care professionals on cancer and health related topics. The topics of these sessions are varied, ranging from physical, psychological to social and personal well-being. Information sessions are conducted in the City centre on a quarterly basis. The majority of these sessions are conducted in Cantonese; however, with the increase in Mandarin speaking audience, a professional interpreter is employed and simultaneous interpretation equipment is used. These information sessions are recorded and DVD copies made available on loan from our resource library. The contents of these information sessions are also published in Chinese newspapers, CanRevive newsletters and website.
